Product Feature Enhancement
This product enhancement called “Sample Boost” is a one-off cost saving project. We were using a 3rd party vendor to perform a specific task which could easily be brought in-house via an online from to insert a question into an online market research study to send website users to a direct location rather than push them through the overall flow.
My Role
Bring MVP of google forms & sheets to a scalable online format
Developed a wireframe for the home screen and boost form
Wrote detailed requirements for tech
Gave feedback in scrum standup sessions

Key Takeaways
The Sample Boost feature enhancement created a large annual cost saving.
~15 people can now fill out their own requests rather than having to interface with a google form which needed to be managed by a single individual.
Took overall process from ~48 hours set up time to 10 minutes.
Created a centralized location for all requests that was saved in a single location rather than kept in a shared drive.
